Title: Everybody wants to impress Lily

Summary: It's Snapes turn to try and impress the fiery red head.
Severus watched from afar as Lily tracked the boy with messy, black hair dart across the sky. Show off, Severus thought to himself after James Potter pulled off another spectacular flip. Severus gripped his borrowed broomstick tightly. If it’s Quidditch players she likes then it was what he was going to do.
Severus then shakily mounted the broom before he kicked off from the ground. He shut his eyes fiercely as he felt himself rise. After a few seconds Severus cautiously opened one eye. His surroundings swam in front of his eyes, he was metres above the ground. He was just about to give up his stupid idea and return to safety when the form of a messy haired chaser in red robes came zooming in his direction,
“Is that a Snivellus Snape?!” Potter shouted, as he flew straight at him. Severus yelped, tried to dodge the boy before he found himself loosing his grip and was suddenly falling through the air.
All he remembered before he blacked out was smiling as the fiery redhead told Potter off.
