Title: Quidditch would be their saviour
Rating: T
Warning: None
Words: 287
Summary: When Mr Granger and Ron met, they both wanted to please Hermione, but what if the only way to do so would also go against her wishes?
Both men uneasily sat across from each other.
It was the first time Mr Granger and Ron met.
Hermione, as ill-at-ease as them about their meeting, had made a list – which she had given to the both of them – of the subjects there were, or not, allowed to talk about.
Father and boyfriend knew better than to upset her However, there was a forbidden theme they really wanted to try.
Ron wanted to talk about Quidditch to show that, though Hermione was better than him in... almost everything, there nevertheless was a field in which he wasn't too bad. Quidditch would, in his opinion, make him look more worthy of the young witch to her father's eyes.
As for Mr Granger, he was afraid not to succeed in looking friendly. To broach the theme of Quidditch a sport which, he thought he had understood, the boy loved, would give him more chances to begin a nice conversation rather than an awkward one – unfortunately he had to admit he could cut the uneasiness surrounding them with a knife.
To fulfil Hermione's wishes, the meeting had to go well yet, to do so, both men agreed – to each other's ignorance – that Quidditch was what they had to talk about however, to bring it up would go against her wishes.
They didn't know what to do.
What was certain was that, as long as they wouldn't have solved this dilemma, they'd certainly keep staring at one another silently.
And it wasn't a thing which would please Hermione either.
'This is far more difficult than I thought it'd be,' both men thought while discreetly – or at least trying to be discreet – releasing a sigh.
