Title: Dreams Rating: G Word Count: 146 Warnings: Summary: Hermione dreamed about Quidditch before she ever saw it played.
-
The first time it happens, Hermione doesn’t know it’s a premonition.
Her mama says, “Sweetie, your dream sounds like very much fun, but if you want to play on the broom you must stay on the ground – and you must do so outside.”
She lines up her stuffed animals in a row on the ground and pretends that they’re whooshing past her on broomsticks of their own. She throws a red marble into a plastic cup that her father set up for her and leaps around, cheering, wild with excitement.
When she is about to turn twelve, she sees her very first game of Quidditch and is immediately reminded of her favourite game as a child. “It’s real,” she breathes as the students press around her in the stands, and she dreams of the day when her own broomstick will lift her up, up, and away.

Aww, that's cute. It's a pity Hermione's afraid of heights.. Well done.

The realization at the end is perfect, 'it's real'. Brilliant job!
