My whole world shakes with a deafening rumble. The world, which had been dark, flares suddenly with blinding light. I can hardly see. A large blur comes towards my face, blotting the sky momentarily out of existence. The sky is back now, bigger than before. Giants surround me, and some of them are staring at me, as if I were something intensely fascinating. My friends, the Bludgers, are getting agitated. They want to get out of their confinements. I can’t blame them. We are almost free. Just a little bit more. Come on.
The whistle blows. YES! I am FREE! I take off, flying as fast as my little wings can take me. Who cares about friends now, so long as I am free? Fly like the wind, Snitch-Eye! There is a bunch of idiots riding around on broomsticks. Let them have their fun. I don’t care. My escape is so CLOSE! Just a little bit further. Come on, you stupid wings! Fly faster!! I am getting intensely frustrated with my wings. They are not good enough. I want to escape, but they won’t let me do it fast enough.
Oh no! He has seen me! No! No! No, no, no, no!! He can’t catch me! I won’t let him! No! Please! No! Get your hands off me! Don’t put me back in that dark, cold, scary place! Please! I beg you! I cry as the Seeker hands me to the referee. They are going to put me back in the box. I don’t want to go, I don’t want to!
