Title: Born To Fly Rating: G Word Count: 102 Warnings: Summary: Oliver’s first broom.
-
“Look, Olly! Look what mum’s got! Come over here, come try this!”
“Relax, Patsy, let the boy get there on his own!”
It isn’t much more than a wisp of a memory, but Oliver Wood can recall the voices of his parents, the gist of their words, and the feeling of wonder at being lifted off the ground by an object no wider than his four-year-old hand. It’s the greatest feeling he can think of. When he calls his patronus – a mute swan, graceful and protective – this what he remembers.
“He’s a natural, look at that! Our boy was born to fly.”
