He’s Quidditch captain in his seventh year. Scorpius plays Chaser, his father doesn’t attend the final match, and Gryffindor wins the Quidditch Cup.
He knows he has Rose to thank for that.
They’re graduating in a week and all Scorpius can think about is what the future brings. Quidditch team scouts are at the last game of the season and they talk both to him and to Rose’s cousin Molly about placement with Puddlemere United and the Kenmare Kestrels – he wants to ask her opinion, but doesn’t. There’s a bigger question to ask first – and he hopes she’ll say yes.
