He’s somehow made the team again in his fourth year. Scorpius thinks it has more to do with his father’s money than his own skill.
Before he steps foot onto the pitch before the first game, he walks alone in his game robes to the bottom of the stands. Rose is there, as he knew she would be. Somewhere above him, Scorpius knows his father is waiting.
“You can do it,” Rose tells him. “I believe you can do it.” She stands on her toes, kisses his cheek, and then she’s gone.
And against all odds, he catches the Snitch.
