Title: Of Trials and Triumphs (iv) Rating: G Word Count: 100 Warnings: Summary: Scorpius and Rose and Quidditch.
-
Rose Weasley corners him after a particularly embarrassing game against Hufflepuff. When she bears down on him, he backs up and hunches his shoulders a little. He knows this confrontation is unavoidable.
“I can help you,” she tells him, and he’s a little surprised, a little wary. She’s the only Gryffindor who doesn’t look at him with a mixture of derision and pity, and it throws him off his guard. “Meet me on the pitch at midnight. We’ll practice together.”
Scorpius remembers her cousin Victoire, former Gryffindor Seeker, as she leaves. He could really use what help she might offer.

It's pleasant that Scorpius doesn't refuse to be helped

I think he's afraid she'd do something worse if he refused her help
