Title: The Quidditch Pitch (ii) Word Count: 126 Warnings: Summary: Hermione tries to find herself, looking for answers in an unlikely place. EWE.
-
When she opens her eyes, Hermione finds herself at the end of a very beaten track, staring in the dim evening light at the tall hoops rising high above her into the sky. The bump of her belly grows ever larger, day by day, but the others have yet to comment on it. Granted, she wears her voluminous robes to teach classes and to meals, but she is still surprised. The looks Minerva sometimes gives her, Hermione wonders if she has any idea. To her, it feels like the pregnancy is making itself known in screaming tones.
“I don’t know what I’m doing,” she confesses to the empty pitch. “But I’m doing it alone.”
Not alone, breathes the Quidditch pitch as she walks away. Never alone.

Creepy... hmm. I always just feel like it would have little remnants of deep magic soaked in! ;D
