Title: Minerva McGonagall and the Curse of the Obsessive Prefect Part 7
Rating: PG?
Word Count: 300
Warnings: Kiss and some violence?
Summary: Minerva...and her overeager stalker-puppy.
I could feel her gaze on me the entire time, warm like the sun on a fine summer’s day. It exhilarated me, making me all the more eager for my turn on the pitch. I knew it would rock her world. Not only was I extremely handsome, well-bred and magically powerful, I could also use a broomstick. When it was finally my time to shine, the Quidditch Captain asked, “What position are you trying out for?”
“Seeker,” I responded calmly. I surprised Minerva with a wink, before shooting up in to the sky, like a man on a mission. The Quidditch Captain released the Training Snitch – similar to the Golden Snitch, but without flesh memories. For a moment I hovered, several hundred feet above the ground, giving the Snitch a few seconds’ head start.
Then I tore after it, the wind whipping my robes about. The Beaters were quick to aim Bludgers at me, but it was no effort to avoid them with barrel-rolls, and another aerial manoeuvres. It did not take me long to catch the Snitch and once I did I could almost hear a trumpet fanfare playing in my head, emphasising my victory. The Quidditch Captain flew up to me, a grin on his face. He held out his hand. “Welcome to the team!” Naturally, I accepted, and then landed, smirking, in front of Minerva.
“Does this mean I win?” I queried.
She raised a brow. “Win what?”
My smirk broadened. “This.” I kissed her before she had the chance to know what was coming. SMACK!!!! “Ow!” I exclaimed in shock, rubbing my stinging cheek as I watched Minerva storm away from me. “You deny it now,” I shouted after her, “but I know you want me!!”
She did not answer, but she did not have to.
