Summary: Dobby finally gets to ride.
It wasn’t the best broom gold could buy. But it was his broom. He bought it himself with the gold Headmaster Dumbledore paid him.
His little hands shook as he mounted the broom. Glancing around the Hogwarts quidditch pitch, he made sure that nobody was around. Everyone should be abed but he wanted to make double sure.
He shook his head and tightened his grip. He shouldn’t be afraid; he was allowed to fly, now.
Dobby kicked off and looked around him in wonder. He was a little shaky, but he was flying. Over a real quidditch pitch for that matter. The school grounds never looked so beautiful. And he finally felt free.
