It was only a matter of time. She had been trying to tell the Headmaster for years that it was only a matter of time before that hateful sport killed one of the students. Now Potter was here, practically in pieces before here, and everyone was expecting her to perform some sort of miracle.
Of course she was good. And the boy would live. But she doubted whether anyone would really appreciate how close it had been. Imagine if the first quidditch death was Harry Potter. How ironic that the cause would be the ‘guards’ the Ministry had sent to Hogwarts in order to protect him…
