Title: Almost, But Not Quite
Rating: PG
Word Count: 296
Warnings: Nothing really.
Summary: If Quidditch was like Football.
"READY . . . AND GO!" Ginny screamed, throwing the Quaffle into the air towards her brothers and then running out of the way as fast as her small legs would carry her.
Bill ran up and grabbed the Quaffle, trying to spin past Charlie, but he was stopped as both of the twins came running at him, tackling him to the ground.
They got up and high-fived each other as Charlie took the Quaffle away from Bill and ran for the hoops at the other side of the field. Fred and George followed closely behind, knocking Percy and Ron down as they tried to tackle Charlie.
Charlie through the Quaffle through the middle hoops, scoring the first point of the game. Fred and George did a chest bump before lifting Charlie up and spinning in a circle. Ron started complaining about something being unfair, but no one payed any attention.
The game started up again and Bill got the Quaffle. He threw it to Percy, who tossed it to Ron. Ron threw the Quaffle as hard as he could towards Bill, who missed it as it flew over his head.
Everyone stared in horror as the Quaffle soared straight through the kitchen window, shattering the thing to pieces.
Charlie was the first to start laughing. "Mum is going to kill you," he said, pointing at Ron, who was bright red. Everyone except Ron continued to laugh until they heard a shout from their house in the unmistakable voice of their Mum's.
Bill, Charlie, Fred, George, Ron and Ginny all sprinted to the front yard, leaving Percy, who was too stunned to move, behind them for their Mum to find.
"PERCY!"
