Title: Exclusion (I) Rating: G Word Count: 131 Warnings: none Summary: Hagrid’s first broom
The baby was huge. With an iron-grip, it was hard to believe he had not even had his first birthday yet.
He was strong and steady, but he was still a baby. With serious doubts, the concerned father twirled the broomstick in his hands.
His father always feared he would be an outsider in the wizarding world. The boy would miss so much of what was often taken for granted. He would never blend in with a crowd. He would never be popular. He would never wear normal clothes. He would never marry a witch. He would never even meet his mother.
He would ride a broom.
The father gingerly placed the broomstick in the child’s hands. Eager fingers quickly grasped the wood; it was too late for any regrets now.
