He was considered brave by most. Even his enemies said so, although they did not always mean it in a complimentary way. He was the Chosen One, the Boy-Who-Lived, and the Defeater of Voldemort. He had willingly died for his beliefs, and then come back. It was a different kind of bravery though, that he needed today. Today he needed strength. It was so easy to be brave when you had everything on the line, and could potentially lose everything that had ever mattered to you. It wasn't so easy to be brave, and strong, when you had already lost everything. His entire family, Ginny, James, Albus, and Lily. They had been at the muggle theater, Harry had been running late at work, when a gas pipe has exploded. He had been useless in the week leading up to the joint funeral for his family. Even now he couldn't bare to face it, couldn't stand to say goodbye. He just wasn't that brave.
Wow, Z This fic certainly tugs at my heartstrings! Even though I am far from Harry's biggest fan, I find myself sympathising and mourning with him. For one who has already endured so much, it only makes sense that he'd break under this tragedy! Lovely fic
