Title: Guess What!
Rating: G
Word Count: 265 words.
Summary: Al writes his happiest letter.
MUM! DAD! LILY! GUESS WHAT!
I GOT INTO GRYFFINDOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Hat said lots of stuff, but Dad, like you said, I said I didn’t want to be in Slytherin, and it put me in Gryffindor! Rosie got GRYFFINDOR too! Her letter’s longer than mine though, so if you see it at Aunt Hermione and Uncle Ron’s, she wrote all sorts of stuff about her dorm mates and I think she even specified what desserts the house-elves made for the tables, but I know you’ll know I only ate the treacle tart and the chocolate pudding and they had these really yummy pavlovas and caramel tarts and these chocolate mousse strawberry things like you buy from Honeydukes, Mum. James says to say thanks for the parcel this morning and I say thanks too. He was cheering for me when I sat down, and said he was glad I was in Gryffindor with him. It won’t be long before you will be too, Lily! Rosie and I have made a new friend, too, and he’s really awesome. He said that the Sorting Hat was going to put him in Slytherin too, but chose Gryffindor instead. His name’s Scorpius Malfoy, and I think he’s the boy you were talking about at the station? Anyway, Rosie grabbed Pig before he flew away and he’s pinching my cornflakes and Uncle Neville, whoops, Professor Longbottom is coming with our schedules, Rosie says we have Charms first, and sends her love. James said to give Lily a hug from him and one from me too and to you two too.
Love, Albus.
