Rosaline nodded and fallowed her head of house out of the common room. They walked down the corridor before coming to a stop halfway between the stairs leading to the Entrance Hall and the entrance to the common room. Snape opened the door into a room lined with jars filled with hard to come by potions and things. The fireplace in the corner lit the room along with warmed it. It snapped merrily when Rosaline entered into the room.
“Please sit, Miss Addams,” Snape said pointing to the chair in front of his desk. Rosaline took the offered seat sitting with prefect posture her hands primly folded in her lap while meeting Snape’s eyes dead on.
“Good you have some fire in you; you’re going to needed it to deal with your housemates.” Snape said with a nod, “that display earlier will not endear you to them.”
“I couldn’t tell,” Rosaline drawled her green eyes flashing. Snape smirked and nodded.
“Do you know whom I talk of when I said Our Lord?” Snape asked unsure of what they teach in America.
“Lord Voldemort, The Dark Lord, He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named, shall I go on?”
“No, you do have a firm grasp of who he is,”
“I wouldn’t say firm grasp,”
“Cut the cheek, girl,”
“My right or left cheek, sir?” Rosaline asked dead panned.
“Excuse me?” Snape snapped arching an eyebrow.
“Which cheek do you want me to cut, my right or left one?” Rosaline asked her lips twitching as she held down a smile. Her eyes went wide with the loud grumble from her stomach
“Did you not eat at dinner?”
“Not really, no, I couldn’t,” Rosaline said softly.
“Couldn’t or wouldn’t?” Snape accused.
“Couldn’t, the smell in there was overwhelming, I’m a vegetarian.” Rosaline snapped.
“I see, POTTER!” Snape called out a soft pop was heard and Rosaline snorted at the sight of an elf that looked a lot like Harry.
“Yes, Master Snape,” Potter said with a bow.
“Send to Miss Addams’ room a bowl of fruit and let the other House Elves know that Miss Addams does not eat meat...”
“I don’t eat, beef, lamb, or pork, I can eat chicken, turkey and fish if needed.” Rosaline said interrupting.
“Any other dietary restrictions,” Snape asked.
“Not for me,” Rosaline said to Snape and turned her eyes back to the elf, “Would you let the other elves know that my sister in Ravenclaw doesn’t eat any animal products.”
“Yes, Miss,” Potter said with a bow.
“That is all Potter,” Snape said dismissing the elf and turning his eyes back to Rosaline who was hiding a yawn behind her hand,
“Welcome to Slytherin, Miss Addams.”
“Goodnight Professor Snape.” Rosaline said getting up from the chair and turned back at the door, “Sir?”
“What is it?”
“Thank you and where is my bedroom?” Rosaline asked with a confused look on her face.
“Three flights down on your right hand side, will have your name on the door,” Snape said.
“Thank you sir and Goodnight,” Rosaline said shutting the door behind her softly.
Snape sighed and pulled out a picture of Lily Evans and him December of his sixth year.
“I am so sorry, Lils,” Snape said softly watching Lily smile brightly for the camera and poke him in the ribs.
