Title: Gryffindor House
Challenge: Hogwart's Express
Rating: G
Word Count: 270
Warnings (if any): None.
Summary: Albus Severus Potter wants to be in Gryffindor.
Gryffindor was more than just a House.
Gryffindor House meant bravery, it meant chivalry, it meant home. It meant comfort and protection, it meant family. And nothing was more important to Albus Severus Potter than family.
It was more than just earning points, it was being there, with people who were nice and caring, with people who were fiercely loyal to each other. People who would never leave your side.
To Albus Severus Potter, Gryffindor was the place where his Father found himself, where his Uncle Ron shined, where his Aunt Hermione learned how to have fun. Gryffindor was the place where his Uncle George and Uncle Fred started their famous store. Gryffindor House was the place Albus Severus Potter wanted to be.
Gryffindor was the place his brother, James Sirius, always bragged was the "most awesome place ever." Gryffindor was the place his Mum always said was the best, not that she cared what House he was placed. Gryffindor was the place where both of his Grandparents had met and fallen in love, Gryffindor was the place where his whole family had been!
Albus watched as another First Year went up to the sorting hat and got sorted into Ravenclaw. It was his turn next . . . all he wanted was to be in Gryffindor. If he got that, he swore he would be happy for the rest of his life.
All he needed was to wear the red and gold colors and he would never ask for another thing until Christmas. Yeah, not until Christmas. He could wait that long.
As long as he was in Gryffindor.
